Gas Stations Closing in Russia

Gas Stations Closing in Russia

Gas stations in Russia are currently facing negative profitability, according to the Russian Fuel Union (RTS). Several independent gas stations have already been forced to close, as reported by the union.

Interfax cited a letter addressed to Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, which was sent on September 30, where these figures were mentioned. The video shows drivers protesting the lack of gas stations, noting that there is only one station every 150 kilometers. Drivers are forced to wait for hours in traffic jams along the M-12 Moscow-Kazan highway just to refuel.
