Turkish Airlines Announces New Flights to Armenia
Turkish Airlines has announced its decision to start regular flights to Timisoara, Romania, and Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, according to Turkiye today. The airline made the announcement through the Turkish Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), stating, “Our board of directors has decided to commence regular flights to Timisoara, Romania, and Yerevan, Armenia, contingent upon the availability of infrastructure and compliance with market conditions.”
The route announcement follows the airline's strategic growth plan, which includes a significant order for Boeing aircraft. On September 26, THY’s Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee, Professor Ahmet Bolat, emphasized the importance of expanding the fleet. Currently, Turkish Airlines operates over 200 Boeing aircraft, including the 787-9, 777, 737 MAX, Next Generation 737, and 777 Cargo models.
