Situation at Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is Critical: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that the situation at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is critical. According to him, the plant has been receiving electricity from diesel generators for the past seven days, but "the generators and the plant are not designed for this purpose."

"We have information that one of the generators has broken down. It is the Russians who are obstructing the repairs of the power lines leading to the plant and the restoration of basic safety measures," the President added.
