I See the Option to Overcome This Allergic Phenomenon: Pashinyan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in response to questions from members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), stated that there is no issue concerning the constitution in the context of a peace agreement.
"We are discussing the constitution within the framework of our internal agenda, we are not addressing the issue of amendments because there is no need for that in the context of the peace agreement," he said.
According to Pashinyan, PACE has a good grasp of the historical context of electoral fraud in Armenia. He added that the public does not believe that the rule of law was established as a result of their decisions. "I see the option to overcome this allergic phenomenon in adopting a new constitution, in which the people will vote freely in favor of the new constitution," he emphasized.
