Storm Drains Used as Trash Cans, Rainwater Flooding Underground Passages

All underground passages in Yerevan are equipped with storm drain systems to prevent rainwater from flooding the passage when water fills the stairway leading down to it. However, the hygiene workers of the Yerevan municipality clean the trash and dump it into the storm drains every time.

As a result, rainwater is not discharged through the intended systems, creating emergency situations in the underground passages.
