Prosecutor Seeks 2 Years and 6 Months of Imprisonment for Archbishop Mikael

The defender of Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan, Ara Zohrabyan, filed a motion to exclude Judge Arminé Meliksétyan during the additional court hearings that started today. Specifically, Zohrabyan pointed out that on September 24, after the judge announced the verdict and the date for the additional court hearings, she immediately left the courtroom without informing the parties that they could submit motions to the court before the next hearing.

In the case of Mikael Serbazan, the prosecutor has requested a sentence of 2 years and 6 months of imprisonment for the archbishop.
