New Parental Control Tools Now Available in ChatGPT
New parental control tools are now available in ChatGPT. A system has been implemented that allows parents to monitor the communication between teenagers and ChatGPT.
The parental control tools enable adults to link their accounts to their child's account and configure usage restrictions. There are also plans to develop an age prediction system that will help automatically apply age restrictions for users under 18.
Parents can adjust ChatGPT's accessibility by setting time limits (for example, designating “quiet hours”), as well as activate or deactivate voice mode, memory features, image generation, and more.
For logged-in accounts, additional content protections are automatically activated for teenagers. There is also a notification mechanism that alerts parents if potential signs are detected that a teenager may have self-harming intentions.
