Murder Reveal in Kapan: Youth Arrested, Details Emerged

On September 28, the police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report that two individuals with stab wounds were transferred to the Kapan Medical Center, one of whom, 37-year-old Yuri Margaryan, succumbed to his injuries without regaining consciousness. This information was conveyed by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Through measures taken by various units of the Ministry's police force, it was established that on the same day, a quarrel broke out among a group of individuals at one of the facilities in the Syunik region, which subsequently continued at another location. During a dispute that arose over personal matters, a 22-year-old resident of Vardenis inflicted stab wounds on two individuals with a knife he had in his possession.

Operational groups from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' police arrived at the scene, and urgent operational-investigative measures were taken to uncover the crime.

Thanks to explanatory work carried out by the police, the 22-year-old resident of Vardenis presented himself at the local police station and confessed to the act. The young man was arrested. Efforts are being made to discover the knife used in the crime.

The prepared documents have been transferred to the investigative body.
