Mikael Sarbazani's Defense Team Issues Statement

The first instance court (Judge Armine Meliksetyan) has rendered a verdict finding Mikael Sarbazani guilty. The court is to hold additional hearings to discuss a number of issues with the parties involved, including aggravating and mitigating circumstances, as well as the type and severity of the punishment. This was announced by Mikael Sarbazani's defense team.

"After discussing the mentioned issues, the court will retire to deliver its sentence. The additional hearing will take place on September 29, 2025, at 15:30 at the Avan branch of the first instance general jurisdiction criminal court in Yerevan (20 Gyulikevkhyan St., Yerevan, Hall No. 3). The court session is open to the public," the statement concluded.
