Medvedev Warns of Potential Use of Weapons of Mass Destruction
The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, has warned that the conflict between Europe and Russia could escalate into a war involving the use of weapons of mass destruction.
“Such a conflict carries an absolute real risk of transforming into a war with the use of weapons of mass destruction. Therefore, we must remain vigilant,” he wrote on his Telegram page.
He also noted that Russia does not want war with anyone, even with “old Europe.” According to him, Europe’s economy is weak and dependent on the United States, while its culture is degrading in a disgraceful manner. “The possibility of fateful coincidence always exists,” Medvedev emphasized.
