ARF Files Lawsuits Against Gevorg Papoyan, Lusine Badalyan, and Aram Sargsyan

The Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) has announced that it has filed a lawsuit against Gevorg Papoyan, Lusine Badalyan, and Aram Sargsyan for defamatory and false statements made about the party.

In a statement, the ARF Supreme Body mentioned that on August 21, Gevorg Papoyan claimed in an interview with Armtimes.com that the ARF is "pro-war" and accused the party of storming government buildings and stealing property on the night of November 9, 2020.

Lusine Badalyan alleged on the same platform on September 10 that the ARF organized an assassination attempt on Ararat Mirzoyan and participated in riots in the National Assembly and government buildings.

Aram Sargsyan, in an interview with Factor.am on August 27, asserted that it was the "Dashnaks" who rejected Aliyev's proposals and participated in the negotiations in Yevlakh.

All these claims are false and lack any factual basis. We consider them as deliberate defamation. Therefore, we have approached the court demanding a public apology and compensation for the damages caused.
