The West Is Not at War with Russia: Stub
Western countries are not at war with Russia, stated Finnish President Alexander Stub in an interview with CNN.
"We are not at war with Russia," he said.
He responded to a speech made by Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during the G20 ministerial meeting. During the event, Lavrov claimed that NATO and Europe have declared war on Russia in connection with the Ukrainian crisis and are already directly participating in it.
The day before, Lavrov stated that Moscow rejects NATO's accusations of planning an attack.
Speaking at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, he noted that NATO continues to advance near Russia's borders despite its own promises not to do so.
