The issue of Nagorno-Karabakh is not resolved. This was stated today by Seyran Ohanyan, the leader of the "Armenia" parliamentary faction, during a conversation with journalists on the fifth anniversary of the 44-day war.

"The Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and the Defense Army of Artsakh were in a situation where they could achieve success, and even if they did not win, they could realize the problem that was set before them in defense, especially in the area where the adversary had penetrated through one corridor and reached Shushi and the borders of the Republic of Armenia. The authorities of Armenia wasted the negotiating resources accumulated over the years, which led to the loss of Nagorno-Karabakh. In 2019, they rejected mediation proposals and accelerated the 44-day war with their incomprehensible statements," said Seyran Ohanyan.

According to the Minister of Defense, Azerbaijan has further escalated the conflict with its actions, and the responsibility for what has happened lies with the authorities of Armenia.
