Shooting in Armavir: One Injured

Shots were fired today in the Armavir region. Around 19:40, operational information was received by the Criminal Police Department of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Criminal Police Department in Armavir about shots being fired in the village of Araks and a person being injured.

It was confirmed at the scene that the received operational information was accurate. Several citizens gathered at the scene reported that the shooter is known in the village to have mental health issues.

Journalist Lia Sargsyan has reported that the injured citizen has died.
