Heavy Rainfalls Flood Several Villages in Azerbaijan

Several areas of the Archivan village in the Astara region of Azerbaijan have been flooded due to heavy rainfalls, as reported by the country's Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).

The MES's Southern Regional Center, along with the State Service for Small Vessel Control and Water Rescue and Civil Defense Forces, has been dispatched to the scene to evacuate those in need. As a result of these measures, 30 individuals, including one child, have been relocated to safer areas.

Currently, drainage and other safety operations continue in the affected regions.
