Hamas Has Not Received New Ceasefire Proposals in Gaza
A source from Hamas has informed Al Arabiya television that the organization has not received any proposals for a ceasefire in Gaza. This announcement comes amid reports regarding a "peace plan" suggested by the Trump administration.
The plan consists of 21 points and does not include a specifically defined timeframe. It calls for an immediate halt to military actions in the Gaza Strip, with all hostages to be released within 48 hours, as well as the release of 100-200 Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment in exchange.
The Trump plan also includes a pardon proposal for Hamas in exchange for stepping out of Gaza and surrendering their weapons. The confiscation of Hamas's weapons would be carried out by international Arab forces over a defined period.
Sources claim that this proposal will be communicated to Hamas through Qatari mediators and may be subject to changes. On September 26, Trump told reporters, "I think we can have an agreement that will end the war in Gaza and bring the hostages home."
