Clarification: Why the Airplane Flying to Yerevan Landed in Samara

The Red Wings airline has issued an official statement regarding the landing of the flight from Nizhny Novgorod to Yerevan in Samara, as reported by Sputnik Armenia.

"The crew of the Red Wings aircraft made the decision to land in Samara due to a system indication related to the operation of one of the three hydraulic systems installed in the aircraft. The landing was carried out in a normal manner, and the passengers continued their journey on a backup aircraft, which has already landed in Yerevan. We ask passengers to understand the reasons for the delay. Safety is Red Wings' absolute priority," the airline stated.

Previously, it was reported that a Red Wings aircraft operating flight WZ-1347 from Nizhny Novgorod to Yerevan landed at Samara airport due to a "technical malfunction." According to Armenian media, the health of some passengers worsened. Before the arrival of doctors, first aid was provided to the injured by a doctor on board the aircraft.
