Prosecutor's Office to Seize 13 Properties and 216 Million Drams from Former Aytnap Community Leader
The Anti-Corruption Court has accepted the latest complaint from the Prosecutor General's Office regarding the confiscation of unlawfully obtained property. This is reported by the Public Relations Department of the Prosecutor’s Office.
The Property Seizure Division of the Prosecutor General's Office has filed a request with the court to seize 13 properties, 5 vehicles, and a share in a legal entity from Karen Andranik Sargsyan, the former head of the Aytnap community in the Ararat province, in favor of the Republic of Armenia. The assets in question, amounting to 216 million drams, are deemed to be of unlawful origin as they are not supported by the individual's lawful income, either having been transferred to a bona fide acquirer or being unidentifiable for confiscation.
