It’s a Distraction: Arshakyan on the No-confidence Process Against Pashinyan
The Vice President of the National Assembly, Hakob Arshakyan, excludes the possibility that anyone from the Civil Contract party would join the process of expressing no confidence in Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. “There is no political agenda to initiate some kind of impeachment process against the Prime Minister; it’s a distraction that they have found to occupy themselves with,” he stated during a conversation with journalists.
Arshakyan also noted that he interacts extensively with the public and that such issues are not being discussed among the people. “In the street, in the supermarket, people stop me and say, ‘Yes, the peace agenda is the right agenda; we must adhere to it,’ I am stopped everywhere,” he added.
