Fine to Be Imposed for Use of Loud Vehicle Sounds and Exhausts

Loud vehicle sounds and exhaust noises are currently not regulated by any law. This was announced during the meeting of the National Assembly's standing committee on defense by Sergey Bagratyan, a member of the 'Civil Contract' faction.

“Loud noises from vehicles and exhausts disturb public peace and contribute to noise pollution,” noted the deputy.

It should be added that according to the new proposal, a fine will be imposed for causing noise pollution. Moreover, this project is still in the discussion phase and will be approved in its final form by the National Assembly.
