Macron Praises Trump for Supporting Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron has welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump’s statement that Ukraine can regain its territories in their original form and possibly even more, reports Le Monde.

"I am pleased that the U.S. president believes in Ukraine’s capacity not only to resist but also to defend its rights alongside us," said the French President.

According to the French president, the worst critics of the UN are those who wish to change the rules of the game, as they are confident in their own supremacy and are more interested in dividing the world than finding necessary compromises for global welfare.
