If Russia Wins the War, It Will Set a Dangerous Precedent, Says Czech President

If Russia wins the war against Ukraine, it will legitimize the use of force and create a dangerous precedent for the entire world. This statement was made by Czech President Petr Pavel at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, according to Clash Report.

President Pavel indicated that such an event would effectively legitimize the 'victory of brute force' in international relations and pave the way for new aggression. 'If Russia wins this unjust war, it will legitimize power. It will create a dangerous example that could be replicated in other regions,' emphasized Pavel.

Petr Pavel also supported the continuation of initiatives to supply ammunition to Ukraine. However, the successful initiative by the Czech Republic to supply more than one million artillery shells to Ukraine has faced criticism within the country. At the same time, the most opposition party has promised to revise its position if it comes to power.
