Court Lifts Ban on Armen Ashotyans Absence from the Country
The court today lifted the ban preventing the Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashotyans, from leaving the country and removed the house arrest measures placed on him.
"The court itself has understood that there is no risk of Ashotyans fleeing. Although the ban on leaving the country has been lifted, he must still obtain court approval each time before leaving, as a guarantee by leaving his passport with the court," added his lawyer.
Melikyan considered the court's decision today as a step forward, calling it a commendable decision, and found today’s session to be generally productive.
The next court session will take place on October 18 at 16:00.
