US Not Planning to Shoot Down Russian Planes Unless They Attack, Rubio Says

The United States is not planning to shoot down Russian planes unless they attack. This was stated by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

“Well, I don’t think anyone has talked about shooting down Russian aircraft unless they have attacked. I think you’ve seen how NATO reacts to such incursions, just as we do. When they encroach on airspace or air defense space, you scramble the planes and intercept them,” he said.
