Zurabyan Responds to Pashinyan's Post: 'Let's Debate'
"National catastrophe, deceiver, it has been clearly stated to you. Publish the peace plans of the Minsk Group from April and June 2019 that you have hidden from our people and even negotiated to consciously reject, throwing the country into a disastrous war, because, as you reveal in your message on August 23 of this year, you needed to adopt a strategy that would lead us to 'reconciliation with Azerbaijan and dialogue with Turkey.' So it turns out you initially planned the destruction and defeat of Artsakh for that 'noble' purpose," wrote Levon Zurabyan, the Deputy Chairman of the Armenian National Congress, on his Facebook page.
"Publish so that a debate can happen: By not publishing that document—even after you dissolved the Minsk Group yourself and there are no longer any confidentiality constraints—you, yourself, are fleeing from the debate and you are right to do so, because in the light of truth, you stand no chance in a debate. You are a serial liar. You deceived before the war, you deceived during the war, and you are also deceiving about the supposed 'peace' you have brought. Your word is not credible, publish the 2019 documents and there will be no need for a debate, because from the moment they are published, your desire to debate will completely and forever vanish," Zurabyan added.
It is noteworthy that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had previously stated on Telegram: "When the people are happy, the infamous trio fleeing from debate is sad. Now the people are happy because there is peace, and no soldiers are losing their lives."
