These Countries Will Bear Responsibility: U.S. State Department

North Korea, along with other third countries, is contributing to the continuation of Russia's war against Ukraine and bears responsibility for it. This was stated by the U.S. State Department to Yonhap News.

The Department has urged Pyongyang to cease sending troops, and Russia to halt its support for the North. "Third countries, such as North Korea, are responsible for contributing to the prolongation of the war between Russia and Ukraine. We will remain concerned about that country’s direct involvement in the conflict. The deployment of North Korean military units in Russia and any support that the Russian Federation provides in return to North Korea must stop," the State Department's statement said.

The State Department also added that the training of North Korean soldiers by Russia violates UN Security Council resolutions that prohibit providing assistance to or receiving it from Pyongyang.
