The 'Steel Mandate' Applies to Both Billionaires and Archbishops: Pashinyan on the 'Creative Power of the Hammer'
The fact that the people's 'Steel Mandate' fully applies is evident from the assertion that it is effective for both billionaires and, as painful as it may be to say, archbishops. Nonetheless, it operates for the sake of Armenia's statehood, independence, and sovereignty, for the Armenian people and today's future.
This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the 7th congress of the 'Civil Contract' party, where he emphasized the 'creative power of the hammer.' He remarked, 'This hammer and its intelligent application have extricated our statehood from a trap and brought the future to today. The hammer has never been intended for destruction; rather, it is solely for construction, and we are building schools, kindergartens, roads, political strategies and content, state strategies and content, not only for tomorrow but also for today, because the future is today.'
The Prime Minister underscored that today's peace determines tomorrow's peace, today's independence shapes tomorrow's independence, and today's statehood predetermines tomorrow's state continuity. 'This will always be the case, and this will be our modus operandi,' Pashinyan added.
