Putin Will Win the War Against Ukraine, Say ISW Analysts

Russian military commanders are signaling that Russia will win the war against Ukraine, according to analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

"The theory of Putin's victory is based on the assumption that Russia can endure longer against Western support for Ukraine and Ukraine's ability to resist Russia. Putin has repeatedly expressed his belief that Russian forces can achieve their military objectives on the battlefield, even if they advance slowly, as he knows that his troops will be able to utilize their superior human and material resources to crush Ukrainian forces," the analysts explain.
