European Union to Provide Over 200 Million Euros to Armenia

The European Union is set to allocate over 200 million euros to Armenia as part of the second phase of the "Resilience and Growth Program." This was announced at a press conference in Yerevan by EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi.

"It is a great honor for me to announce that we are providing funding for the second phase of the Resilience and Growth Program for Armenia. We are talking about more than 200 million euros, which will stimulate investments in connectivity, resilience, and business development. This confirms Armenia's commitment to a clear reform agenda. It also reflects your firm commitment to implementing reforms in key areas," Várhelyi stated.

According to him, the EU is ready to support Armenia in transport, digitalization, trade, energy, and infrastructure projects in line with the "Peaceful Crossroads" initiative.
