Several Streets in Yerevan to Be Closed on September 21

On September 21, on the occasion of Independence Day, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia will hold a ceremonial march with military bands at Republic Square and Freedom Square in Yerevan.

The Yerevan City Hall reports that during the event, several streets will be temporarily closed: Abovyan Street (from the building of the "Moscow" cinema), Amiryan Street (from the Zakyan-Amiryan intersection), Nalbandyan Street (from Sakharov Square), Tigran the Great Avenue (from the Kh. Abovyan University), and V. Sargsyan Street (near the St. Shahumyan monument) towards Republic Square, with exits on Abovyan Street – Northern Avenue – Freedom Square.
