Preventive Measure Selected for Vardan Ghukasian

The Anti-Corruption Court has chosen a preventive measure for Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasian, imposing a prohibition on his absence and a bail of 5 million drams.

In a conversation with journalists outside the court, Ghukasian stated that he will not have any issues paying the bail. “I have so much respect that if I call any country in the world right now and say, ‘I need $500,000, I need $50,000,’ they would bring it to me in two minutes and hand it over to Ghukasian. After all, I have worked since I was a child,” he added.
