Pashinyan Expressed Desire to Watch the Performance, I Sent an Invitation: Director

A desire has arisen for Pashinyan to watch the performance, and I sent an invitation: this was stated by Tigran Gyulumyan, the author of the script for the play "Tsankapat," in an interview with 24news.

“Nikol Pashinyan said that I will come to HandArt, invite me, and I invited him based on that statement, meaning he expressed a desire, and I sent the invitation,” he said.

Regarding how much he agrees with the thoughts expressed by Pashinyan after watching the performance, Gyulumyan replied, “Everyone there was an audience for me, and everyone can have their opinion. The strength of the performance lies in the fact that it raises questions among the audience. How much I agree or disagree is already political, I will not respond.”

When asked if he drew any conclusions after Pashinyan's remarks, the conclusion was that the performance is influential. “We have played it over 150 times; what conclusion are we talking about? The conclusion is that yes, the performance presents itself as influential, creating a desire among people to talk and express themselves. It doesn’t matter whether it resonates with my heart or not. In that regard, I have concluded that it is the right performance,” added Tigran Gyulumyan.
