Netanyahu Did Not Warn Doha About Upcoming Strikes: Trump

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not provide prior warning to Washington regarding strikes on Doha, the capital of Qatar. This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump, as reported by TASS.

“No, he didn’t do that,” Trump replied to a relevant question, thus denying Netanyahu's assertion. The American leader also mentioned that Israel would not strike Qatar again.

Earlier, the Axios portal reported, citing Israeli officials, that Netanyahu had informed Trump on September 9 about plans to target leaders of the Palestinian Hamas movement in Qatar.

It is worth reminding that on September 9, Israeli defense forces struck Hamas leadership in Doha. The Israel Defense Forces also assured that they had taken measures to minimize civilian damage before carrying out strikes on the Qatari capital.
