Why Was a Celebration Held on the Day of Hundreds of Casualties? The CP Responds

During the defense of the homeland's borders, the martyrs fell so that we could live happily. This was stated by Arthur Hovhannisyan, the secretary of the CP faction, during a press briefing, addressing the question of why a celebration was organized on September 13, 2022, the day of hundreds of casualties resulting from Azerbaijani aggression.

“Our compatriots died so that we live, they gave their lives so that we are happy. They sacrificed themselves for the statehood of the Republic of Armenia, the welfare of the people, and for the happiness of all of us, our children,” he noted.

Hovhannisyan also added, “They gave their lives for the statehood of the Republic of Armenia, for the welfare of the people, for all of us, for the happiness of our children. I believe that first and foremost, they are happy in the heavenly life, seeing that because of their sacrifice, their children, relatives, and compatriots are smiling, rejoicing, singing, and dancing.”
