Israel to Increase Investments in Domestic Arms Production
Israel will continue to increase investments in its domestic arms production to reduce dependence on European manufacturers. This announcement was made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"We will continue to increase investments in weapons production to avoid reliance on weak Western European leaders who are subjected to radical Islamic minorities in their countries, and that’s exactly what we are doing," the statement released by the Prime Minister's office reads.
Netanyahu emphasized that despite two years of ongoing warfare, Israel's economy has strengthened, the budget deficit has been reduced, and foreign investments in research and development in Israel are the highest in the world, second only to the United States.
