I Wouldn't Be Surprised if Mount Ararat is Removed from the Coat of Arms – Hayk Mamijanyan

It is an ungrateful task to try to predict what anti-Armenian action Nikol Pashinyan will take next. This was stated by the leader of the "Honorary Mission" faction Hayk Mamijanyan during a parliamentary briefing, referring to a government decision that the image of Mount Ararat will no longer appear on seals.

“One can endlessly be amazed at how the pioneer honor student Pashinyan is willing to flatter Turkey or Azerbaijan. Moreover, no one is opposing or talking about peace; absolutely, this event has nothing to do with establishing or not establishing peace. It is simply an act of pleasing Azerbaijan and Turkey,” said Mamijanyan.

According to the deputy, nobody has demanded this. “I wouldn't be surprised if Mount Ararat were also removed from the coat of arms. I have long been mostly indifferent to what Pashinyan has done, what he is doing, and what he will do. I am much more interested in what we, the citizens of the Republic of Armenia, will do in response to this,” noted Hayk Mamijanyan.

It should be noted that according to a new decision by the Government of the Republic of Armenia, as of November 1, 2025, the image of Mount Ararat will no longer appear on the entrance or exit boundary sign (seal) of Armenia.
