Arab Countries Await US Pressure on Israel

Arab and Islamic countries are expecting the United States to pressure Israel to reconsider its policies. This was stated by Jasem al-Budaiwi, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), during a press conference following an Arab-Islamic summit in Qatar.

“We expect our strategic partners, the United States, to use their influence to change Israel’s behavior. The time has come for this,” said al-Budaiwi.
