We Must Not Let Aliyev Turn the 'Zangezur Corridor' into a Tool: IRGC

The Iran-Russia gas pipeline, which passes through Baku, has been closed, reports the Sepah Pasdaran Telegram channel.

According to the source, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian raised the issue of the transit of Russian gas during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Experts emphasize that the Georgia-Armenia route is significantly shorter and has a higher capacity. Warnings have been voiced that we must not allow Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to turn this gas project into a tool for advancing the so-called 'Zangezur Corridor.' Energy is not only an economy but also a part of a larger geopolitical game in the region,” the source notes.
