Russia Strikes Oil Refinery in Leningrad Region
A fire broke out at the KINEF oil refinery in the Leningrad region due to debris from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which has since been extinguished, reported regional leader Alexander Drozdenko.
"The fire that ignited from the debris of unmanned aerial vehicles at the KINEF refinery has been extinguished. There are no casualties," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
The refinery is located approximately 111 kilometers from St. Petersburg. Additionally, three unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down near the city of Kirishi. Earlier, Drozdenko had reported one destroyed UAV in the Kirishi area.
There is a risk of drone attacks in the region.
