Israeli Army to Launch Large-Scale Operation in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have completed preparations for a ground operation and the seizure of Gaza City, aimed at eliminating the last strongholds of the Palestinian Hamas movement. This was reported by the state broadcaster Kan.

"The Israeli Defense Forces have finished preparations for the most complex phase, which will soon commence in Gaza City," the report states.

According to the television channel, senior security officials and political figures have clarified that the deadlock created around the hostage deal following the Doha attack will make it impossible to avoid an escalation of fighting in Gaza.
