72 People Killed During Protests in Nepal
The Nepalese government has officially confirmed that 72 people have died during protests. According to Nepal News, this information was verified by government representative Eknarayan Aryal during the inauguration ceremony of the country's new Prime Minister.
He stated that an additional 191 people injured in the mass unrest are currently receiving medical assistance in various hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country. Aryal mentioned that the fatalities occurred during the protests on September 8 and during incidents of arson and violence on September 9.
Previously, there were protests in France and Azerbaijan.
