Washington Will Defend Every Inch of NATO Territory

The UN Security Council has discussed the situation around Poland. Acting US Ambassador to the UN, Dorothy Shea, strongly condemned Russia's actions, assuring that Washington will defend its allies and every inch of NATO territory.

The Russian permanent representative to the UN reiterated a recent statement from the Ministry of Defense, claiming that Russian forces had no intention of hitting any targets in Poland. Vasily Nebenzya accused the West of exaggerating the incident and attempting to disrupt the resolution in Ukraine.

“Such actions, even if unintentional, display a disrespectful attitude towards the sincere efforts of the United States to resolve this conflict,” he added.
