Kyiv Faces Financial Challenges in the Fight Against Russian Drones, Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that Kyiv is facing financial challenges in combating Russian drone attacks. He made this statement on the social network X.
“To counter 800 Shahed drones, we need 1,600 drones. Each of those costs 3,000 euros. To prevent the attacks of Russian drones, we need to respond in a proportional manner. We have capabilities for long-range actions, but we are encountering financial issues. Quick solutions are necessary, and they exist. Because tomorrow they will have new weapons. The same problem exists with drones, artillery, and helicopters. They are supplied not only by China but also by other countries in Asia and Europe. Many of these were supplied to Russia before the war. There are digital means to neutralize these devices over long distances. This is possible,” stated Zelensky.
