Zorlun: We Call Nakhchivan 'Turkic Gates'

The deputy chairman of Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) and head of the department for relations with Turkic states, Kurshad Zorlun, is set to visit Nakhchivan. He announced this on the social media platform X.

“Today, our first stop on the Nakhchivan-Igdir line will be in Nakhchivan, one of the strategic centers of the Turkic world, which we call the 'Turkic Gates.' The peace and prosperity that the brotherhood of Azerbaijan and Turkey will create in the region will stem from here,” he wrote.
