The Parliamentary Opposition is the Beneficiary of War: Kojoryan

The beneficiary of peace in Armenia is the people of the Republic of Armenia, while the beneficiary of war is the parliamentary opposition, because the parliamentary opposition does not envision life without conflict in its ideology and value framework.

This was stated by Haik Kojoryan, the head of the "Civil Contract" faction, during today's session of the National Assembly.

"And this is exactly about the Dashnaktsutyun party, because it was founded at a time when we did not have a state. It was established and operated as a party of liberation struggle. The purpose of Dashnaktsutyun is an end in itself," Kojoryan announced.

According to the deputy, it is difficult to fight against peace on one hand, while on the other hand, it is equally difficult to abandon one's own identity, whereas Dashnaktsutyun does not want to renew its identity in any way, nor do they want to understand that identity is a developing concept. Kojoryan noted that the opposition has politically passed away a long time ago, as they have nothing to say.

Regarding the criticisms from opposition deputy Lilit Galstyan, he accused her of referring to Azerbaijani narratives.
