Russia Supports Stable Peace Between Armenia and Azerbaijan: Zakharova

Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, stated during a press briefing that "the role of the Russian Federation in the regulation of relations is difficult to overestimate, and the current phase of Armenian-Azerbaijani regulation began with the active support of Russia and personally President Vladimir Putin."

She reminded that, with direct participation from Moscow, it was possible to reach trilateral agreements at the highest level between 2020 and 2022. These agreements literally halted the bloodshed and established the main directions of the peace process.
