France's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Summon Russian Ambassador Over Drone Incident in Poland
France's Ministry of Foreign Affairs will summon the Russian ambassador in Paris following a drone incident in Poland. This was announced by the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, during a broadcast on France Inter radio.
On the night of September 10, Polish and allied military aircraft took to the skies amid alleged Russian military activity in Ukraine. Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated in the morning that Polish military forces had used weapons against objects that violated the country's airspace.
Tusk later mentioned that a "large number" of drones allegedly of Russian origin had been involved. He added that the drones posing an immediate threat to Poland's territorial security had been neutralized.
