Car Crashes into Streetlight Post in Ararat Province, Two Injured

On September 12, at 04:34, the emergency management center of the Ararat regional rescue service received information that a traffic accident occurred near a former police checkpoint in the village of Argavand, where a car collided with a post, resulting in injuries.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Yerevan rescue service was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a "Hongqi" brand car veered off the roadway on Yerevan Highway in Argavand and crashed into an external lighting post, which subsequently fell onto the roadway, obstructing traffic.

Before the rescuers arrived, two injured individuals were hospitalized at a medical center. The rescuers secured the area, performed road cleaning operations, and maintained a presence at the site.
