The Government's Peace Agenda Was Formed During the 2021 Election Campaign, Says Prime Minister
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a government session that the peace agenda of the Armenian government was formed during the 2021 electoral campaign.
The concept of 'Real Armenia' was shaped as a result of direct interactions with society. 'The author of the idea of Real Armenia is the people. The 2021 campaign was unique in that we were both the speakers and the listeners. During the campaign, a different content was formed, and it was during that time that the peace agenda was established,' said Pashinyan, emphasizing that contacts with citizens continued even after the elections.
The Prime Minister noted that during meetings, the participation of women of middle to older age stood out particularly. 'They usually do not come to rallies, and I was curious why they were coming at that time. It is with these people that this policy was formed, of course, not immediately. The content comes, settles down, is digested, and then you start to think and analyze,' Pashinyan remarked.
