Netanyahu Discusses Voluntary Exodus of Palestinians from Gaza

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has held a high-level meeting regarding the issue of "voluntary exodus" of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, as reported by the Times of Israel, citing one of the participants' offices.

The meeting involved senior representatives from the country's Ministry of Defense and Cabinet. They discussed a plan that would allow Gaza residents to leave the country as early as October.

The Ministry of Defense presented a program under which, starting next month, residents of Gaza could depart the war-torn region via air and sea routes. Sources from the Ministry of Defense informed Channel 13 that Israel is negotiating with several African countries about accepting Gaza residents, but no agreements have been reached yet.

Critics of this policy accuse Israel of attempting ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in Gaza, pointing out that those promoting this policy have not promised the departing individuals the right to return, asserting that Israeli settlements in the enclave must be restored.
